To complete the quest Ii’s Memento, you need to know which previous quest unlocks this task. In this guide, I will explain in detail, step by step, how to complete this confusing quest, and at the end, I will show you where to find and how to defeat the boss Aggrieved Warrior. I also recommend checking out another guide where I explained how to defeat the boss Kusanagi.

Nioh 3 Ii’s Memento how to get

After completing Fated Land, speak to Ii Naotora in Hamamatsu Castle. She will give you the Mountain Temple key, and inform you that there is a yokai infestation in a temple located north of Hamamatsu Castle. Now you can go to the location marked on the map and open the door, which was previously closed.

You will enter a world filled with yokai, and to continue the quest and face the final enemy, you must clear the Enemy Base. In total, you must find and defeat 5 enemies. After that, you will be able to face the final battle with the Aggrieved Warrior.

Nioh 3 Aggrieved Warrior location

Climb the stairs to the temple, and the boss Aggrieved Warrior will appear on the platform, whom you must defeat. This boss is not difficult, but considering that you will come to complete this quest at a fairly early stage of the game, you will not yet have powerful magical abilities and strong Ninja Tools. Therefore, you will need to use your standard battle tactics to defeat the enemy. I usually try to keep my distance from the Aggrieved Warrior so that I can react to his attacks in time.

From a distance, I throw my kunai and shuriken at the boss. When they recharge, I also use Uncanny Bolt. You will not be able to throw projectiles continuously. After a while, Aggrieved Warrior will start blocking them. Therefore, you need to alternate throwing Ninja Tools with other attacks. I tried several different attack options, but I liked the combination of air attacks the most.

Nioh 3 Aggrieved Warrior tips to win

So, you need to hold down the block button, which for me is the LB button, and then press the normal attack button, which is the X button, several times. As a result, the ninja jumps up, creating a whirlwind of fire, and if the boss is nearby, he will take damage from this action. Next, by pressing the normal attack while the ninja is in the air, he will fly forward and attack the enemy.

By pressing the attack several times in a row, the ninja will not fall to the ground, but will turn around and attack the enemy again. This will continue as long as you have enough stamina. This combination of three attacks usually takes all of my stamina. After that, the ninja lands on the ground. Very often, you will land on the ground at a distance from the enemy, which is ideal for you. In this case, you have time to simply retreat to restore your stamina.

Accordingly, this attack is only available if you use two swords and have learned the Cloudsplitter Fire skill. I know that most players prefer tonfas, but I personally like dual swords visually, even though they deal less damage than tonfas. Therefore, you can use any effective attack for this battle. It will most likely be effective and help you defeat the Aggrieved Warrior without any problems.

After winning, you need to return to Hamamatsu Castle and talk to Ii Naotora to receive your reward and complete the Ii’s Memento quest.
