If you restart the fight, the bandits will respawn along with the boss and get in your way. And the boss will make it hard to deal with the bandits. So, if things don’t go as planned, start from here. Run to the fortress, use Nature’s Grasp to open the gate, and now you need to eliminate all the bandits inside without triggering the Crimson Nightmare boss.

Preparing for the battle with Crimson Nightmare

You can lure the enemies near the boss away using a bow. It’s important to eliminate all enemies so you’re left alone with the Crimson Nightmare. Here’s an optional tip: You can sharpen your weapons, which will slightly boost your attack power against the boss. Next is a super-essential tip. As you kill the thugs, you need to pick up and equip the Scarlet Blades Gas Mask. It will give you complete immunity to the red smoke.

Crimson Nightmare how to beat

When you start the fight against Crimson Nightmare, you need to run into the red smoke to get right in front of the boss. From there, I usually try to jump up and use Force Palm. But I’ve found that you can also use Force Palm without jumping it works just as well. You’ll see the cube turn yellow and fall to the ground.

This is your chance to deal as much damage as possible while Crimson Nightmare is down. It took me just two Force Palm attacks to completely defeat the boss. Then, before the final scene began, I managed to grab that cube for myself it’ll come in handy later on.
