Here’s the fearsome boss Marni’s Excavatron from the game Crimson Desert. But I’ll show you how to easily defeat it. This boss calls for a completely different strategy than the one I recommended for the battle against Kailok the Hornsplitter, for example. So let’s take a closer look at this opponent.

Beehive Club Location

Although not necessary, I equipped the one-handed mace Beehive Club for this fight. It can drop at random from any wild wasp nest and when struck it poisons enemies when hit – making it ideal for use against bosses. Keep in mind this weapon cannot be repaired and only lasts one battle before dissipating!

My other hand was holding the Acria Sword; early showing how to locate and steal this blade. Just a reminder: any weapon can be used against the boss; I just demonstrated what weapons I chose as examples. Next I show you where Marni’s Excavatron can be found.

Marni’s Excavatron Boss Fight

Let’s move onto the boss fight. My main piece of advice would be: don’t use a shield in this fight – while you may be able to parry some attacks from Marni’s Excavatron, it will never block all their strikes. Instead, employ a dynamic tactic of constantly dodging. I used two one-handed weapons such as maces, swords or axes – whatever fits best with your playstyle – in this instance I used one-handed mace and sward. So as not to get damage immediately after Marni launched its attack and instantly dodge to the side before landing one or two heavy attacks quickly close in on Marni and deal damage as quickly as possible.

Be wary when you see a blue glow and your boss burrows into the ground; this is his most dangerous attack and you must move as far away from him as possible to avoid his leaping attacks. He will jump up from the ground three times, trying to strike! However, another form of underground boss burrowing called Excavatron may pose less danger; simply move actively during this phase and dodging frequently until the Excavatron begins moving again underground to attempt damage on you.

As soon as the boss emerges from underground, you can begin attacking him. Keep in mind that you only have two attacks before needing to dodge and avoid taking damage from him; otherwise you risk taking too much damage yourself and needing food just to restore your health! With practice comes success – take that as far as it goes!

Completion of the mission

Keep in mind, in order to fully complete this quest, you must bring down the number of bandits in the area to zero – either before or after engaging the boss fight – no problem!
