Ryoma’s Bequeathment can be unlocked after completing the main quest, Accursed Temple, in Nioh 3. Himiko can be found in the Gambling Den of Shichijo. She will tell you the Shinsengumi cheated the loyalists and ask you to search for clues in Omiya. But before you start this quest, I recommend checking out the walkthrough for another quest, ‘A Present From Whom‘.

You can see the location where you can complete this task on the map. There, you need to go to the second floor of the building and defeat the enemies inside. There aren’t any tough opponents here; you’ll be able to take them down easily and very quickly. After that, you’ll receive a hint and the quest will continue.

Report to Himiko

Now you need to go back to Himiko. You know where she is. She was here at the start of the quest and hasn’t gone anywhere since. Go inside the building and talk to her to continue this quest in a new location.

Convene with Himiko in Sanjo

Next, you need to meet up with Himiko in Sanjo. I’ve marked the location where the quest continues on the map. This is where the quest will conclude, so get ready for the final battle. After you talk to Himiko, you’ll need to walk a short distance forward with her. Enemies will attack you there. There will be three waves of enemies in total.

First, there will be simple enemies, then a formidable elite enemy, and finally, the boss Mezuki will appear. You’ve faced this enemy more than once, and you need to defeat him again. This time, you have a much larger arsenal of options, ranging from powerful attacks to magical abilities. So I’m confident you’ll handle this boss quickly and confidently.

In this battle, I decided not to drag out the fight, so as soon as I ran out of Ninja Tools, I decided to use my ultimate ability. Of course, you can deal the most damage by positioning yourself behind the boss. I use a jump and a heavy attack to deal a lot of damage. After repeating this simple combo a few times, I notice that Mezuki has less than half his health left and has already entered the dark phase.

Of course, a few Ninja Tools have recharged while I was using my ultimate ability, so I use them right away. As much as possible, you should dodge the boss’s attacks, but his regular strikes won’t be very dangerous to you.

From here on out, it’s very easy to secure victory. Use everything at your disposal to deal damage to the enemy. There’s no point in discussing specific builds here – any build you’re currently using will work. I used a few magic attacks, my Spirit’s abilities, and my recharged Ninja Tools, and that was the end of the battle.

Next, to claim your reward, you need to talk to Himiko right there, and that will complete the Ryoma’s Bequeathment quest.
