Firstly, he will not interfere with your fight, and secondly, Naito Masatoyo will immediately run across the bridge to attack you. This is the ideal scenario. There is less room for maneuver on this side, but on the other side, other opponents will join the fight anyway. I’m sure you don’t want that. Even though they are easy to destroy, you will have to distract yourself with them, and at that moment, you can easily miss a powerful blow from Naito Masatoyo. Nioh 3 Ninja Combat Tips: Dual Swords Combo Explained

Of course, at the start, you need to take aim at your opponent. While I was telling you why it’s important to fight on this side of the bridge, you already saw the basic combo that my ninja uses to defeat Naito Masatoyo. So, you need to hold down the block button, which for me is the LB button, and then press the normal attack button, which is the X button, several times. As a result, the ninja jumps up, creating a whirlwind of fire, and if the boss is nearby, he will take damage from this action. Next, by pressing the normal attack while the ninja is in the air, he will fly forward and attack the enemy. By pressing the attack several times in a row, the ninja will not fall to the ground, but will turn around and attack the enemy again.

This will continue as long as you have enough stamina. This combination of three attacks usually takes all of my stamina. After that, the ninja lands on the ground. Very often, you will land on the ground at a distance from the enemy, which is ideal for you. In this case, you have time to simply retreat to restore your stamina and, when Naito Masatoyo approaches, perform this attack again.

Best Ninja Strategy for Boss Naito Masatoyo Fight in Nioh 3

It is important that the boss does not interrupt this attack with his strikes, and there is almost no chance of you taking damage from the enemy. Of course, when you find yourself on the ground, you need to assess the situation and either start a new attack or dodge Naito Masatoyo’s attack. At the same time, during a perfect dodge, you will replenish your throwing items. I usually use kunai, shuriken, and Uncanny Bolt.

When you find yourself on the ground and the boss starts his powerful attack or just runs towards you, any throw of a throwing item will stop him. But it’s important to remember that you can only throw an item at him 2-3 times. After that, the boss will figure out your tactic and start blocking throwing items. So don’t waste them. Use them to damage and stop your opponent only enough to restore your stamina and attack your opponent again with this combination.

When flying through your opponent, you will not always hit them and will not always cause damage. Therefore, the fight may drag on for some time. But you will have a clear combination, spamming which will allow you to defeat Naito Masatoyo relatively easily. Sometimes the boss can block your flying attacks, but sometimes you can quickly turn around and deliver several blows from behind, which will increase the damage. Also, constantly attacking with thrown objects gradually reduces Naito Masatoyo’s total health. During your attacks, be careful and keep an eye on your stamina level. Here, you can get carried away with the attack and miss the moment when you simply cannot attack and will miss the blow.

Then you will stand still for a while, and at that moment, the boss can destroy you. By the way, if you master this combo, you will need it in the game against ordinary opponents. But then I usually finish the last flight by pressing the heavy attack Y. If you do this, the ninja, using two swords, will land behind the enemy with a powerful blow. Against this boss, this attack often led to death because I was very close to the boss, so I decided not to use it.

As a result, you only need to learn one combination and use it constantly. I deliberately left the fight in its entirety, even though it is a bit long, so that you can see that it is done continuously and is not difficult.
