Nioh 3 Unwavering Hope quest – Investigate the village

Here you’ll find the first clue, and then the ghost will reappear and ask you to explore the village. The next part of the quest is located nearby. Here you need to find two clues: one is near the well, and the other is a little further down the path. I’ve marked both locations for you. Before the ghost reappears, you need to listen to the dialogue after receiving the hints.

There may also be a small number of yokai here that you need to defeat in order to explore the area. After that, we’ll move on to complete this quest. I’ve shown you the last location you need to visit, and here, be prepared for a tough opponent: Tsurara-onna.

Head to the temple where the two met – Tsurara-onna boss fight

Upon arriving at the location, your character and the ghost who gave you this quest will realize that Tsubaki has transformed into a terrifying and powerful yokai who has killed many people. Now you must defeat this boss to complete the quest. Tsurara-onna doesn’t have much health, and she is very vulnerable to any fire attacks. Use the fire magic abilities you possess.

The Demon of Envy ability, fire shots, and fire shurikens will be quite effective here. On the downside, the enemy deals quite powerful blows that can quickly take you down. So move actively, dodge the boss’s attacks, and strike at the right moment—preferably with fire magic. Using this tactic, you’ll quickly defeat Tsurara-onna.

I also recommend using the Enenra summon in this battle. It’s a powerful fire-based weapon that deals a lot of damage to the enemy and makes this fight much easier. I try to stay as far away from Tsurara-onna as possible, because in close combat she attacks very quickly, performs a swift grab, and deals a lot of damage. To avoid this, I recommend staying far from the boss and attacking only with ranged attacks. For this battle, I used Ninja Tools and fire magic. That was enough to quickly defeat the enemy.
