If you finish the fight without triggering it, you made things harder on yourself for no reason. Get Cassius Morten into position, dodge his attack, activate the column. It’s straightforward and the payoff is massive.

Get comfortable with the blind timing. The dodge-and-blind rhythm isn’t complicated, but it does take a couple of attempts to feel natural. Once it clicks, it almost feels like cheating. Dodge the heavy attack. Apply blind in the recovery window. Combo. Repeat. You can cycle through this multiple times and keep constant pressure on him.

Don’t get greedy with your combos. Three or four clean hits and a retreat is better than trying to squeeze in everything you’ve got. Cassius Morten can recover fast enough that overcommitting often means eating a counter-hit you didn’t budget for.

Check your gear before heading in nothing elaborate, just make sure your weapons are upgraded and you’ve got health items ready. I cleared this fight on the easier side, but going in with neglected equipment makes any Crimson Desert boss drag more than it should.
